Track the Reds (Week 8)

Featured Replies

It will be interesting a bit later in the season to see if Chapman or Volquez can muscle their way into the rotation. I love the Jim Day post game show live from the plaza on FoxSports. Looks like FoxSports could find a spot on camera for a hard charger like say....Gametime.

67 "Johnsons" and counting for the Reds.

I think the Bengals had five Johnsons a few years ago. Now they're all about the Joneses.

Did anybody hear Jim Day during the post game show. He was talking about Roy Halladay's perfect game, and he said something along the lines of Halladay with the perfect game tonight, I heard that there was an error in there, but still a perfect game. :ohbrother:

I've never understood how that guy gets on TV. The only emotion he evokes is pity.

Drew Stubbs with 3 more hits tonight! Man, what a waste of a roster spot. Glad some on here are not running the team.

It is possible. A dropped foul ball.

You are correct, but I'm pretty sure that isn't what Jim Day was thinking. If you listen to him much he just says too many stupid things.

Feeling a sweep anyone? Wish I could get out to the ballpark today, but I will be headed to one of my favorite places to throw down a couple brews and listen to the game on the radio!

I have to admit I was wrr... wrr... wrong. I said Cairo did not belong the team and he is as hot as a firecracker. He is giving Votto plenty of time to recover. I hope Votto is ready by Monday. Sorry Miguel!!!!!!!

MLB offensive Ranks for Reds: (NL Ranks in parentheses which is shocking)

HR's - 3rd (1st)

SLG% - 2nd (1st)

On Base% - 3rd (1st)

We always talk about the pitching, but this offense is RED HOT.

LRCW, I am glad you mentioned this. I could have sworn that I heard that statement. I didn't say anything because I figured I must have heard it wrong. Surely, he didn't say that. But I guess he did... amazing.

Didn't think about that. But I doubt if that's what Day was referencing. The guy seems like a real simpleton.

Leake has to be thinking, "Great, we have a tough enough time scoring runs when I'm pitching, and you pick today to give Rolen a day off."
