Track the Reds (Week 8)

Featured Replies

Reds bounce back rather well against Cleveland after the nightmare 2 days in Atlanta.

Pirates come to town for 4 games and Houston for the weekend series.

Bad road trip against bad teams. Cleveland is abysmal; Atlanta, mediocre at best.

Hopefully, the Redlegs can makes some hay at home against two more bad teams.

I'll take two out of three every road series. The last game in Atlanta was what made that series so bad. I'm happy with a 4-3 week.

Will 4-3 be a happy next week or will it take 5 wins or more? It will take 5 or > to make me happy. They should win at least three of four and two of three.

A 3-4 week, with Captain Toothpick being directly responsible for one of the losses, would not shock me.

Reds need to go 5-2 before heading to St Louis.

Atlanta's record is only one game worse than the Reds and they are 13-6 at home. If not for the miracle finish the Reds would have gotten a split of the series which would have been all that should have been expected.

HC stayed over .500 again last week. Lets keep it going. Good team win series like the ones we have coming up. I bet Lehr comes up to take Homers spot.

I don't know why I was thinking Lehr at the time but I meant LeCure.

I'll go with Maloney if they need somebody.

Sounds like tonight would be a fun night to go to the ballpark. I read that they are celebrating the first night under the lights at Crosley field. They are selling tickets for $1 and peanuts for $.10. They are also doing something special during the seventh inning. If I was in town, I would definitely head to GABP tonight.

I'm headed to the ballpark tonight. Should be a good time.

I think the Reds will bring up a reliever to fill the gap, then I'm hoping Maloney will get the call & make Homer's start if Homer heads to the DL.

I agree with reliever then starter. The paper said Travis Wood is the scheduled starter at Louisville on Homer's day. Any chance they bring him up instead of Maloney?

Del Rosario would be the reliever they will call up if they go that route.
