May 26, 201016 yr That's twice Leake has been burned by Stubbs in the outfield this year. He cost him a run against the Mets by misplaying a flyball in an earlier game. I know losing it in the lights happens, but that was a really tough break for Leake. That young man is simply amazing.
May 26, 201016 yr Masset gives up a long ball, Reds down 2-1. Masset simply isn't hitting his spots this year. His strike outs to innings pitched ratio shows what kind of stuff he has, but he is making too many mistakes in the zone.

May 26, 201016 yr I have played baseball and softball for many years. Teams know who their good and bad match-ups are. Massett knew that LH Doumit was a tough match-up and a good clutch hitter. I believe he just won a game with a walk-off over the weekend. Instead of Massett and the Reds pitching him outside and not giving him nothing to hit, Massett throws a heater right down the middle. Know why Massett should have let Doumitt beat him with the eight place hitter on deck which he made look foolish. The Reds are playing well but make alot of silly moves that good teams just don't do.

May 26, 201016 yr Head scratcher. Is the bullpen that tired? I had no problem at all with that, and yes the bullpen has been used a lot lately, and they have 9 more games in a row before a day off. Leake has shown he can handle the bat. He almost yanked a breaking ball out of the yard, but was just out in front of it a bit.

May 26, 201016 yr Head scratcher. Is the bullpen that tired? Baker will cost you 8 to 10 games a year.... They are continuing to add up.
