Stubbs hit for a better average, had a better OBP, had half has many homers, and stole 7 more bases than Rasmus in 294 less AB's last year.The vast majority of Stubbs' production came in hitter-friendly GABP and it was all in less than 200 at-bats ... the pitchers will get a chance to adjust to him, and we'll see how he adjusts in turn. Again, you would be hard-pressed to find any general manager that would take Stubbs over Rasmus. I bet Jocketty would jump on Rasmus if he got that offer.

Rasmus may very well end up being twice the player that Stubbs is, but it's much too early for both players to know for sure.

There is every reason to think that Rasmus is the better prospect.
