April 8, 201016 yr Middle of the 5th. 0-0. Arroyo's at 67 pitches. Probably can get at least a couple more out of him.
April 8, 201016 yr He is only at 76 pitches through 5. If he keeps up this pace he could go 8. Penny's at 47 through 4. :irked:
April 8, 201016 yr Penny's at 47 through 4. :irked: I meant 67 not 76. Well half the team is swinging at the first pitch. That doesn't help much.
April 8, 201016 yr Hanigan makes him actually work the count a little and throw more than 1 pitch and rips a double.
April 8, 201016 yr Author Well as well as Arroyo is pitching I imagine we'll here LaRussa and Duncan accuse him of cheating again.
April 8, 201016 yr Well as well as Arroyo is pitching I imagine we'll here LaRussa and Duncan accuse him of cheating again. That's right!!! WOW, I had forgotten about that!
April 8, 201016 yr Well as well as Arroyo is pitching I imagine we'll here LaRussa and Duncan accuse him of cheating again. I was at that game. Smoltz was complaining the entire game. I had great seats (3rd or 4th row) and let Smoltz hear that his noodle arm was the problem, not the balls. Holliday also responded to us when a few of us asked him why he couldn't hit a 79 mph fastball. Arroyo can be brilliant...or the world's most frustrating pitcher.
April 8, 201016 yr Can we please get Bronson some more runs. I would think a one run lead would suffice, considering the Reds have one of the best bull pens in the major leagues.:sssh:
