This WVU team has been ranked in the top ten all season long, won the Big East Championship, and now beat a very good UK team. WVU strength all season has been it's defense, and tonight I think WVU length got to UK.

March 28, 201016 yr Wow, where do you even start? Poor ball handling, horrible shot selection, absolutely no defense. WVU shooting the lights out from 3. Mazzulla looking like Jason Kidd. WVU wanted the game more and played well. I still don't think they are better than UK or really that great (they are really good though) but all that matters is who moves on in the tourney. Congrats to WVU. UK had a great season. It was fun to watch UK again. They were the most talented team in the country in my mind, but in the end inexperience met a team that would not be denied & was having the game of their lives. It's disappointing but how can you be mad about a team that only lost 3 games this year? WVU not one dang 2-point field in the first half and one free throw made was up 2 points. I can't help but chuckle at that.

March 28, 201016 yr How many times does a team have to get beat by the same curl off a double screen at the foul line before you call timeout and get things straight? Bottom line, when you can't make FT's and can't make in-game adjustments when things aren't working, you lose. And an awful lot of that has to be on the coach. He can't control how you shoot it from the charity stripe, but he sure can advise his kids to put a halt to the treys and drive to the basket. Amazing that a 1-3-1 can make the best team left look like they were one man down. And all of this happened with WVU's starting pg parked on the pine. Amazing. Hey coach, your kids were getting rubbed off a double screen and the entry was from just below the foul line extended. Just so you knew. What really sucks is I work in WV and have to hear all of that crap on Monday.:irked: Of course only the hygiene patients will have that much nerve, or maybe someone after the appointment is over.

March 28, 201016 yr Well the question was asked if Kentucky got beat would folks say they were "overrated". The answer in my opinion, no, but I do think they youth caught up with them tonight!
March 28, 201016 yr I live in KY and have had to eat it all week. This week I will not have to eat it! I love the Wildcats, but I get sick and tired of listening to UK fans run their mouths too. I completely understand everybody hating Kentucky.
