March 15, 201214 yr '66 Mercury Monterray Coup with a 428 cu in. She was silver and black with black interior, that thing was huge. Even had air conditioning, the unit hung down off the dash, worked really well and way better than the air in new cars today. I could have hung meat in that thing and kept it fresh!! She was a great car. Kicked a Vette's bootie across the Clay Wade bridge into Cincinnati one day only to have the engine die at the stop light.........but I beat the Vette. March 16, 201214 yr WHen I went to school at Morehead in the mid-70s, it seemed like almost every freshman girl from the mountains had a black Firebird or a black Trans-Am.That's odd, because when I went there in the mid-70's most of the freshman girls I knew had a Pinto or Maverick. You must have hung out with a better class of freshman.
March 16, 201214 yr 1970 Phymouth Duster, it was in 71 I bought it. 1973 I bought New a Gremlin X. It had bigger tires/air shocks/Crager rims, a home made stero system that was great. 8 track player, blue & gold. and was loaded, well as loaded as AMC could load one. Two years it was fine, then trouble started. Bought a new 1976 Camero ordered it with a Corvette engine. Changed the exhaust system remove the converter. Took 3 Months to recieve it. Kept it for 4 years and sold it for what I bought it for. I had to add more for telling y'all about the Gremlin X. I wanted a Road Runner, but dad said no...
March 16, 201214 yr A '91 Honda accord that my parents bought for my older brother and I to share in 2005. I can remember being a little unenthusiastic about my parents going to buy the car because i figured it would look crudy anyways. When they pulled into the driveway it was love at first sight though. The car was black with tinted windows and sat super low to the ground. The seatbelts slid back and forth when you opened the door and the hub caps were really shiny which mad it look like it was sitting on rims. For a junker, the car looked awesome and I loved it. I felt so cool being able to pick up my girlfriend in it when I got my license. Good times.
March 16, 201214 yr Summer 1981. Needed a ride for going to NKU. Bought a 1969 Chevelle for $50. Used so much oil I would have to stop on the side of the road to put more in. AM radio. Sold it later for $75. My first good investment.

Sold it later for $75. My first good investment. I bought my first car for $500 when I was 15. Scrapped it for $150 when I was 19. I'd call it it well worth my investment.
