March 10, 201016 yr They lost by a million... Thanks man. I was hoping they did, but I haven't been able to keep up with the games today and I didn't read through the thread until just a second ago.:thumb:
March 10, 201016 yr Nice to see UC finish one. Things got a little shaky, but they held on. Need to work on those late game inbounds plays. Good luck tomorrow against L'ville. Curious to see if Kuric can contribute. The kid can play.
March 10, 201016 yr Author Nice to see UC finish one. Things got a little shaky, but they held on. Hopefully this was Lance taking the next step towards being the "man" next year and leading the team when the game is on the line. Parker and Cash also played well out top and Thomas was huge on the defensive glass in the 2nd half. They needed this one bad for a lot of reasons. Glad to see they got it...
March 10, 201016 yr Would someone please explain to me why the format of this is set up the way it is, having 4 byes and 4 double byes in a 16 team tournament?
March 10, 201016 yr Some great matchups set for day 2. USF vs. G-town St. Johns vs. Marquette Seton Hall vs. Notre Dame UofL vs. Cincy Wouldn't surprise me to see Cincy knock off UofL tonight. Seton Hall and ND is a toss up. Johnnies will be a tough out at the Garden and USF could play their way into the Big Dance with a win over G-town (who they beat at G-town).
March 10, 201016 yr A 20 win season. 9-9 in the BEast with a tourney win. Considering it's only the 3rd twenty win season in the history of USF basketball (started in 1970) and a major improvement in the doormat status over the first 5 years in the Big East, I think Stan Heath is doing OK. With a $30 million dollar face lift for the Sun Dome, a spanking new practice facility, and new athletic dorms, the future is only going to get brighter. :thumb:
