I think Farmer would be a great option. Young, up and coming, MALE alum, this one could be the answer.

I wouldn't be suprised to see Coverdale apply. He's been promised the Trinity job for several years. He might be tired of waiting.

Does Coverdale have any head coaching experience? Maybe this would be a good step to coming back when Beatty leaves? Honestly, if ( and I mean if) the list of candidates to replace Redman or Beatty were Coverdale, Ty Scroggins, and or Coach

Just a honest question here...why is Coverdale held in such high regard for such high profile jobs?

 

Not to say that his offenses aren't brilliant and great, but outside the walls of Trinity we saw what happened to him, and one really has to ask the question, who wouldn't have a great offense at Trinity?

Coach Cov was HC @ Castle High School in Evansville. I know he was HC, not sure of the school.

Yes, Coverdale was at Castle, I believe in 2005 and 2006. If so, his record there was a combined 7-13. In fairness to him, he didn't walk into the best situation there. In spite of Castle's record, he was thought of well in area football circles.

How many schools "go after" coaches in high school? Don't they just pick from the ones that apply?

Was at a gathering over the weekend with one of Redman's assistant coaches and he said "everyone, including the waterboys" were going with Red.

 

He also said Chris Wolfe is the guy. Be a GREAT hire for Male.
