January 18, 201016 yr Joker visited with LSU-verbal Sam Gibson last night. Three star kid in the mold of Randall Cobb. UK has made a big push for him and has immediate PT for him as opposed to LSU. Maudrecus Humphrey another 3-star WR from Hoover, is on the radar as well... Be quite a coup to pull him and Gibson. UK still in holding pattern for Miles Simpson, but I like their chances. Down to Illinois, Indiana, and UK. Was to visit Illinois this weekend. 4 star RB Rajaan Bennett visited UK this weekend. I think Tennessee just made an offer for him. Lewis from Indy visiting UK this weekend?

Don't know what happened there but should be a good pickup.:thumb:His recruiter was Willie Taggert...and he's now at WKU....he tried to get him there, but that wasn't happening. U of L is setting up a nice MNW pipeline. Being the fallback for guys from there from the U could be great for U of L in the long run. I agree...U of L made a living on the "hand me downs" from the Sunshine State...I say if U of L gets some forefront Florida guys, and the seconds from said state's recruiting...they'll be back sooner rather than later.

I agree...U of L made a living on the "hand me downs" from the Sunshine State...I say if U of L gets some forefront Florida guys, and the seconds from said state's recruiting...they'll be back sooner rather than later. Strong has been very smart. The kids from Miami pipeline schools are good to go after. Alot of the kids who would go to Miami simply cannot get in due to grades. WVU has made a living off of with guys like Noel Devine and a couple of guys from their last class. U of L is going to be a good national presence now with Strong. If or when he decides to move on, they should keep someone from the staff or get another guy with connections down there. U of L can go back to being a major player in the Big East if Strong is given time IMO.
