January 15, 201016 yr What about BJ Daniels?BJ told the team, after their meeting with Tony Dungy Monday, that he is giving up basketball to concentrate on football full time. I have a feeling that is part of Carnes' decision making progress. BJ will be hard to beat out and Carnes would have to play 3 years behind him, unless Daniels got hurt or left early for the NFL.

I know they want him on the team but I think he has a quicker route on the field at GT or UC for offense. I tell ya though we are running out scholarships I wonder whose they gave away.

If he wants to play QB it would be at least 2 years at UC with Collaros in front of him. I like the kid a lot and hope he sticks with UC, but I think the best fit is at GT running the triple option. If he does pick OSU and the plan is playing in the slot, they'd have a very hard time keeping him off the field for long...

We are so deep on offense Small is the only receiving leaving this year and have 3 others coming in Brown would make 4. He is a great talent though. I don't think QB is working at either school with Collaros and Miller hopefully coming in. Agree with you on GT but rather see him stay in state. Did they just offer him like 3-4 hours ago I wish it wasn't so late tonight? There has to be some bad news behind this for us... someone is not qualifying or coming. That has more to do with his latest test scores just getting in and being where he needed them to be. I wouldn't read too much into it there...

His lead recruiter there is the new DC for UC and that's how they got in the picture. As of last night those are the only two he is considering although UGA is still trying to get back in the mix...
January 15, 201016 yr Well GT sounds like you were dead on about Brown offer game in last night, grades are okay and even though his dream is QB sounds like he is going to settle for WR. Most are saying he will be the next Buckeye commit. Nice info as always from you, hate to take one of your guys but I guess that's life and college sports. Hearing Hicks is down to OSU/Texas and it is 50/50 dead lock. He could commit next week. As always hearsay... time will tell on all of this.
