I think the biggest factor in Hendrix getting the offers he did is that this is a really down year at the QB position nationwide. I don't think it is all that hard to figure out why he offered Massa...

I don't think either Massa or Hendrix are ND caliber if ND is looking to return to where they think they belong. For those that say "well, Ohio State/Florida/name your fave BCS team " offered I'll give you two words....Rob Schoenhoft.

 

OSU offered Hendrix because Montana said no. The current third string QB is expected to move to WR. So they wanted to get someone in the system before next year. They ended up giving it to Kent Graham's boy. And yes GT and I agreed on the Schoenhoft, even Graham could be a mold of it. Hendrix has good size, quick release, and very accurate. He is a kid you let him get in the system for 2 years and maybe he's a lotto ticket. Then again, maybe he's Shoenhoft.

Hendrix is accurate with the deep ball but every time I've seen him he is all over the place with the short and medium throws. He just doesn't seem to have the feel for how to make those throws and put the ball in a position to let the WR make a play if he does catch the ball...

Jibreel Black decommited from Cincy to Michigan. I know he visitd UM this weekend. Gametime or someone more familiar with this kid can you tell me where he projects to play in college, DE or DT? I like this pickup but can only give my assumption on ratings as I have never seen him play or watched his films. Is he legit?

Just confirmed it with my buddy that runs the UM Scout site and Jibreel himself. Very nice snag for UM and a big hit for UC. It depends on how UM wants to use him as he could project to OLB, DE or DT. He has a great blend of power and speed for a young guy and will have a very good college career...

I know OSU visited him but never offered. It is a big loss for UC heard he has a big motor. Rich Rob back at it...

I think he's a dirt bag, but I don't have a problem with. I did find it a little ironic that his player host this weekend was a former UC commit that switched on signing day 2 years ago...
