January 22, 201016 yr He plans on making his choice weeks past signing day. The only visit that is set for now is UC because of his basketball schedule. He's talented enough for some programs to wait, but right now he's playing a very dangerous game if he keeps to the plan of taking most visits after signing day... Supposed to be visiting Georgia Tech on the 29th.

January 22, 201016 yr Looks like Charlie Strong has upset the staff at Stephenson HS, in Atlanta which is one of the best producers of D-1 talent in Central Georgia. January 22, 201016 yr I respect your opinion but I'll take Charlie Weis, Urban Meyer, Jim Tressel, and Brian Kelly's opinions over yours. No disrespect but they are high level coaches who know how to evaluate talent. That's fine. Makes it more fun when I'm right...

If BK is only going after UC targets why are Christian Jones and Ego Ferguson starting to look like they could be wearing blue and gold next year? I don't know much about where Ferguson will end up, but I don't see anyway Jones ends up anywhere but FSU. His father and brother played there, and though they were supposedly mad about how Bobby B was treated this season alot of people feel he is a lock. I think you can kind of tell by his interviews. He's keeping it close to the vest, but IMO he's just taking some visits. Jones will be at Bama if it's anywhere besides FSU from what I take from his interviews.

January 22, 201016 yr This is for the few Bama fans on here, others don't look. We should end up 1st or 2nd over all. Coach Saban has made a few in home visits that have gone very well. This could be his best balanced class, with the Vol job hurting them we might get one or two from them. There is a wideout that has committed from the state of Tennesee even before Lane left that could be better than Julio Jones was projected. Same size and faster, might start along Jones/Maze with Hanks being a former starter and now a backup. Even though Julio stats are down they love his downfield blocking and leadership. These kids have seen Bama playing true freshman and they know they will get a fair shot to play early.

I just don't see the kid leaving the south. ND is a great school but it really doesn't offer any more than the other schools he's interested in. Sure academics are better at ND, but a degree is a degree.
