He is a very good ball player next year will be very telling for his recruiting. I still say a Simpson mold is his upside. He reminds me a lot of Vince Murray and ironically I heard he also is interested in a service school.

Elliott is a nice high school running back but he is no where near as good as Miles right now.

 

I have mixed emotions on these games. On one hand I am glad to see Ryle step up but on the other hand this will be stepping too far up if Colerain is able to maintain their program. In other words, getting beat a zillion to 7 doesn't help a program much.

Not sure Ryle will necessarily qualify as being "loaded" in 2011, and in good part because it will be a first-year varsity QB - whoever that may be - at the helm. And I would hope that anyone claiming that Ryle will "crush" Colerain is doing so with a bit of playfulness. Colerain has way too good of a program for Ryle to be "crushing."

 

But it's still a great scheduling idea for Ryle and will be a very exciting series.

No question they have bitten off a lot, but they won't get beat a zillion to 7 (or in more realistic terms - get "destroyed"). They want to set themselves apart in NKY in 6A and be the team that knocks off the Louisville boys. You become the best by playing the best and I don't think this matchup is crazy - but it's no doubt a major challenge.

Well I think his best upside is Miles by the time he gets to his senior year. Ryle will more than likely be the underdawg but they will have a couple of classes built together by then including their solid frosh team from this year. They took on Highlands twice, I really think their trying to get to the next level.

Elliott is a mix between Scotty Gray and Vince Murray IMO. Similar build to Gray with similar speed, but powerful like Murray was.

Loaded may have been taking it a bit far, but Ryle will be very good in 2011. I spoke with their Camera guy (older gentleman, name escapes me) several times this past season and anytime we discussed the Ryle players, he was constantly speaking highly of the sophomore class. Throw in the very talented Ryle frosh team and they will be very good over the next 3 years.
