January 8, 201016 yr Conan gives me the creeps! He looks like a corpse and his hair is rediculous. Wouldn't hurt my feelings if they moved him to 3:00 a.m. Leno should go back to the 11:30 p.m. slot.
January 8, 201016 yr Leno's new show is much better than his old and is somewhat entertaining. I don't watch it frequently, nor am I upset if I miss it, but it's not nearly as bad as you make it out to be. I'm with you on this one, I still think it's a fairly entertaining show. I watch it most nights when there's not much else on but the news. Some of you seem to have a grudge against Leno.:irked:

See, that's the thing -- I have zero reason to watch it, as I've known for a long time that Jay Leno just isn't very funny, and is, in fact, annoying as hell. So, when I comment about Jay Leno, it's not about his show. It's about the fact that he sucks, simple as that.
January 8, 201016 yr How about some better news: Jay Leno goes away altogether, because he sucks. They screwed Conan over when they signed him at 11:30 and then announced that Leno was coming back earlier. Conan was never the top guy like he was probably told he would be. Conan is better later at night, but his show at 11:30 is still far better than Leno's was.

January 8, 201016 yr Apparently Leno's viewing #'s are solid, it has more to do with sub-standard "lead-in" viewers to the late local news affiliates. NBC took this risk knowing it was a possible outcome but weighed it against the relatively low costs of producing Leno v. a 10:00 drama series. Regardless, it appears the 10:00 Leno will be no more post -olympics. Have not heard anything to suggest that Leno would get his old time slot at 11:30. Regarding Leno v. Conan........I would pick Leno. Conan has never struck funny with me. Sometimes if I watch him I feel like the only one who thinks he is funny is him ! Oh well............:idunno:
January 8, 201016 yr Conan and Leno are two different types of funny. I like them both. I made time to watch Leno at 11:30 and Conan directly after. Conan is just the "dumb" funny and that's what I enjoy. Leno is more of the "joke" funny, which usually is pretty entertaining too. I think Conan is getting jerked around big time by NBC. However, NBC does not want to lose Leno to another company (ABC) and that's why they moved him to 10:00. If I am Conan and Leno gets moved back to 11:30, I resign from NBC.
January 11, 201016 yr It is now being confirmed that the show will get moved out of the 10:00 hour, and it is tentatively expected that the half hour show at 11:30 will be the way they go. http://tv.ign.com/articles/105/1059815p1.html I can't say I'm encouraged when the word on Conan is "My goal is he'll stay with the network." Fox apparently would offer Conan immediately if he chose to leave NBC, which quite frankly I hope he does if they follow through with this. Enjoy Jimmy Fallon NBC, AKA the worst run network there is.
January 11, 201016 yr I'll take Jimmy Fallon over either Leno or Conan. Heck, I'd take a rerun of Green Acres over Leno.
January 11, 201016 yr I'll take Jimmy Fallon over either Leno or Conan. Heck, I'd take a rerun of Green Acres over Leno. That's because Green Acres was actually funny, whereas Leno is not.
January 11, 201016 yr NBC should just can Leno, and show old Carson shows at the 11:30 slot, and then Conan at 12:30.
January 11, 201016 yr NBC should just can Leno, and show old Carson shows at the 11:30 slot, and then Conan at 12:30. I concur.
January 11, 201016 yr Conan said that NBC is going to throw him and Leno in a pit with sharpened sticks and the one that comes out of the pit would leave NBC. I guess Conan may win that battle.
January 11, 201016 yr GE's NBC has become one of the worst run organizations in the television business. The move to put Leno at the 10 o'clock spot was two fold. It was supposed to be a new concept people latch on to, and it was to cut costs by not having to pay for 5 different shows a week. Their successful nighttime show, The Biggest Loser, is run for 2 hours to avoid putting another show on the air. It has been documented before how much of a joke MSNBC has become. I do not watch it often, but I like CNBC. Today still does relatively well. To ditch Conan, they have to pay him millions of dollars.
January 11, 201016 yr I too, have never been a fan of Leno, but Conan isnt all that funny either. I watched Leno's 10:00 pm show once. It was boring and the punch lines so predictable. I dont know who would do well in that particular spot. My current favorite TV show host is Ellen Degeneres. Her show is very funny, light hearted, and entertaining.
