January 8, 201016 yr My wife told me the same thing tonight. Did anyone watch Conan's show at 11:30? Did anyone watch Leno at 10? Because I didn't watch either. I always liked Leno at 11:30 though. Never got into Conan much, although some of the best old Simpsons episodes ever were written by him.
January 8, 201016 yr The 10:00 PM hour is reserved for Fox/56 News in my house. That's what I always watch. I haven't seen a single Leno show since he moved from 11:30.
January 8, 201016 yr Jay Leno is awful, and always has been. Now, if the belief is that Conan works better at 12:30 and they move him back there and Jay back to 11:30, I guess I could see that. But I think it would be preferable to dump Leno.

Keeping Leno in a prominent position makes about as much sense as newspapers continuing to carry "soap opera" comic strips such as Mary Worth, Rex Morgan M.D. and Apartment 3G on their pages, despite the fact that no one reads them.
January 8, 201016 yr Conan is one of the few TV "funny" men that consistently makes me laugh out loud. I have never found Leno particularly funny.
January 8, 201016 yr I just can't imagine anybody actually finds Jay Leno funny now, or ever in the past. He should've stuck to stand-up. Leno's new show is much better than his old and is somewhat entertaining. I don't watch it frequently, nor am I upset if I miss it, but it's not nearly as bad as you make it out to be.

I read several articles on he is losing millions of viewers to cable shows, I think he lost over 40% of his viewers. 10 PM looks like it is not a talk show hour.
January 8, 201016 yr I never watched Conan much when he followed the Tonight Show. It was just on too late for me to watch. I've seen his show a lot since he moved to the 11:30pm slot, and I agree with others that he is much funnier than Leno. I think Leno just needs to hang it up.
