It's unfortunate that we're stuck with this stupid system. Because regardless of who wins between TCU and Boise, they still will be regarded as playing a "small dog" in the bowl game. That's what made Boise's win over Oklahoma so special...it came against a "big dog". UC will be playing a Gator squad with nothing left to lose but their pride, which in my opinion, will make them even more dangerous.
December 7, 200916 yr UC did jump to #3 in the BCS like GT said they would if they beat Pitt. So we could be talking about UC in the title game right now if Texas had missed that field goal.
December 7, 200916 yr Can't get any more anti-climatic right here. Really? TCU-Boise was one of the best bowl games last year. I actually like Boise in this game, since it will be a revenge game for them.

December 7, 200916 yr I hate it from top to bottom. I think the BCS is just plain terrible. I could care less about the "Mid-Major Bowl". I want to see these teams play the BCS schools and prove that they belong. I think there's only one game in the whole group that is within a TD on the scoreboard.
