Congrats and . Looking forward to seeing you in BG next week. I think your game is on Saturday. Will you be there on Friday nite? If so look for us.

Didn't relize you had a son playing. We need to talk.

We play at 11am Central time on Friday. I'll definitely look for the "Bird bus" which will probably be parked near the Creek.:sssh::D

The winning streak goes on to next year. Boyle has not lost a home playoff game since the 1997 Bourbon County game. :bunny:

WOW, i did not know that Boyle has that long of a streak at home.

I have never witness a Boyle Co. playoff loss,and thats a fact.:dancingpa

Playoff streak. Not every game streak. :thumb:

31 playoff games if my research is correct.

That is a home playoff loss.

I forgot to put home in there.:D

Bell Co. decided not to kick a fg deep in BC territory in the 3rd, looks like that came back to haunt them.

i was wanting them to kick that field goal. i think they had a way better chance at converting on 4th and long than kicking a 30+ yard field goal with a toe basher.

great game!!! both teams were amazing football teams. for me it was extra special i have a brother on the team and grew up watching and coaching many of the seniors on this team. when i huged rees and my brother after the game i almost cried. they have worked so hard for this. it all started when they were in 4th grade. go rebels bring home a 6th ring.

Bell County really missed Monte Merrick last night. It goes to show how much a good kicker is worth to a team. Boyle has been blessed with Taylor Begley, David Jennings, J.T. Ross, Adam Dickenson, Patrick and Phillip Barsotti.

All where better than average kickers. We hear a lot about our line coach, defensive coach, offensive coach. Here's a shout out to our kicker coach. GOOD JOB Coach ! (coach Deem I believe):thumb:

Good points. Coach Deem (who has also done wonders with the Boyle County girls soccer program) has been over there for years and they've had great kickers every season. A good kicker might not matter much in regular season games against inferior opponents, but it can be the difference in winning and losing a state title this late in the season.

You left off two or three more kickers that beat Rockcastle Co. every year inthe playoffs in the 90's every year by a last second FG.

Right now old age is getting to me 3wishes. For some reason I can't think any farther back than Taylor Begley for a kicker. I've also recently gotten some eye glasses as I can not read anything without them. I do remember those games very well, but the kicker has just slipped my mind.

One of them was from Japan I know.

Seem like I remember that now.

Yes,its just us old guys a little longer to remember.
