Boyle County 13 Bell County 10

Great game and what a great team Bell Co has. Congrats to the REBELS.

On another note, I saw one large troll wearing Bell County Blue acting the same way as you decribed above. I thought she was going to be pulled away by the trooper that was near her. I guess we have these type of fans on both sides of the ball.

See ya in BG :banana::banana::dancingpa:dancingpa

Yes the woman that you were referring too was one of the players sister, thats when she seen the larger troll standing over her brother and saying whatever she was saying. I know what you are referring too because i wasn't a few feet away when this happened. This is no way to act for true fans of ANY team. Celebrate with your team. I have no problems with any team or fans celebrating a great win and going on to play another week. But to get in a young mans face that is on the ground disappointed in what had just happened.

Good Luck Boyle County in BG next week, win it all. Your players are well deserved of their accomplishments and deserve to be in the Championship game.

It makes no difference which side of the field these large trolls was cheering on, this should never happen at any sporting event let alone a game where "kids" are playing. I wasn't there and I didn't witness any of this but I am ashamed and appalled that it happened at all. These are kids playing for our entertainment and we should never say a word to any of them except in praise. All of these kids, Boyle and Bell, have worked their butts off in order to be on that field playing and we should respect each and every one of them. I hope someone says something to these women, I sure would have and have done so in the past, and they will think twice before ever doing it again.

I am sorry to the Bell fans that this happened and you have to know that this does not reflect a "true" Rebel fan. We appreciate all kids and we appreicate good football. We enjoy a win but we have always been able to take a loss with class and good manners.

What a season for Bell County to be proud of!!!!!

GO REBELS...TAKE STATE

Well said Rebelk...I agree with you on this very much. Some people in the exciting atmosphere of the game let their emotions take over and instead of celebrating a great win don't know how to have good sportsmanship.

With that said, i met a few of the Boyle fans and players last night after the game. #74,#2 and #5 are class acts as is the rest of your team. All three of these young men that i did get a chance to talk to were very well mannered. I am proud to have witnessed such a game and i do want to tell all the Boyle County Rebel fans and players one thing:

FINISH THE JOB

Good luck guys in BG next week, win it all. :thumb:

A question for the Bell County fans-- were there any "presents" on the visitor's side of the field? Last year during the play offs we sat in ketchup, this year we smelled a combination of deer urine and manure. It's a shame some Rebel fans are such poor hosts. It detracts from the team and town. We weren't treated that way at Lone Oak.....

Nothing that i can say Zanny, overall imo we were treated well by all the Boyle fans. Except for the few "ladies"(and i use that term loosely) that decided to show their posteriors after the game. And unfortunately their are some bad fans from every school, be it high school or college. I do know that their are some Bell fans who show their posteriors also. Hard to believe i know:D

The only thing is this, the boys from both teams prepared a long time for that game and worked their butts off to get there. And Boyle Co. imo was the better team last night and is well deserved in the victory.

The whole troll situation was pointed out to me by my friend. It was sad that they were treated like that. We all have our idiot fans. I saw some Boyle County students mistreated at a store after the Bell County game last year by a woman and her husband. I'm not going to get into all the stories that I've heard last year because those idiot fans who want to cause pain and be a "buzz kill" don't matter. You can't change idiots. :deadhorse:

With all that being said, I'm not letting this situation take away from what Boyle County has done this season and from what they did in that game. No fan should be too disappointed after this game. Greats teams, great fans and just an awesome atmosphere. Go Rebs! :ylsuper:

Congratulations to the Rebels on a hard fought win. See you in BG! Go Flash!

There are idiot fans at every game. I am sure we all can share stories about lunacy we have seen off the field by fans and on the field by players that may not necessarily be seen by the refs or have a flag thrown for it.

There are always stories about what so and so team did to this team and what not. Is it unfortunate, yes, but fact of the matter is, this stuff goes on every Friday all across the state. I myself try to represent Boyle County the way I want and think Boyle County should be represented. While I would like everyone to represent like me, I know that is a falsehood and I can only hope to smooth things over if I see a Boyle fan acting crazy, but I am not going to come on here and call out any other team's fans if I feel they acted out of line. There is no point, it's not productive and people like that win when we talk about their actions.

While people say they are kids and shouldn't be treated this way, more times than not, it's the kids acting out in a immature manner against the other kids. Remember, they are all kids.

Great post my post. :notworthy:

We just need too drop the subject and move on. Boyle County won the game and it does not need to be overlooked by this situation. Go Rebs! :thumb:

I know what you're talking about but there's no need for me to bring that up.

Hope all Bell County fans had a safe trip back home. :thumb:

I agree, I am moving on with you.:thumb:

Great game by both teams. I knew it would be a low scoring game, but what a finish. I am so glad we were on the winning side. Congratulations to the Rebels and all of our fans, like wise to the Bobcats on an excellent season.

Don't lose your focus Rebels, and bring home #6 Friday. Good luck..

Great job.:thumb:

Good news/Bad news post. First the bad news.

I have never witnessed 2 individual trolls act in a fashion toward young men as i witnessed tonight. Two rather large women from Boyle County were acting in a way that i felt ashamed of if they had been Bell County fans. 1 troll pointing her rather large fingers into the face of a young man that had just played the game of his life and saying very insulting things too him. The other large troll yelling toward our players disgusting things that will be left out of these comments. Now i know Bell has their fair share of obnoxious fans and I would not condone these actions toward any young man that has just played this type of game after giving it his all to try to win. Shame on these 2 people and hopefully they will be shown how their actions looked too all who witnessed it. The sad part was these were "adult" women. Shame on you.

Now the good news. My hats off to the Boyle County fans and players. I talked to a few of you after the game and the players for Boyle, #74,#2 and #5. These are very classy players you have and great young men. You guys played your hearts out for both teams and thank you from a fan that witnessed such a great game.

Bell County, my hats off too you. Great game tonight. Now lets remember this next year when it comes around again. Let em bring the "sawmill" to Log Mountain, but i guarantee you the blades won't be sharp enough to do anything.

I'm pretty sure I know who you are talking about because they sat near our family tonight screaming obscenities during the night and generally acting like classless fools. I can assure all that people like that are a negligible % of the Rebel fanbase.
