I've said over and over Washington is a team to watch these next few years. Sark will get players in there. There is tradition there. Great system. It is one of the top 4 toughest places to play they often say 2 behind Autzen. I know this much if anybody saw the game it is like the EA sports college football game! The cameras were shaking 3/4's of the game because it was so rowdy there! I mean it was rocking!

I'm adding Cincinnatti to this list for the show they put on against the Rutgers. Pike had a heck of a ball game completing almost all of his passes for just shy of 400 yards.

Don't get all giddy over Claussen just yet. His last 2 games were against the 117th and 118th ranked pass defenses in the country. I'm still not sold on the kid yet.

A.J. Green and Julio Jones are the best two wide outs in the SEC, yet many don't believe they are top wide outs in the country. Cobb is no where near those two guys and I don't think he ever will be. I mean he would be a top 5-7 wide out in the conference, but that would make him about a top 20-30 wide out or lower in the country.

 

What? Who doesn't think them are two of the best in the country? Everything I have seen has them as one of the best in the country?

Josh Carter from WKY (formally Ft Campbell) First ever college game as a true Freshman and saw mop-up duty against Tennessee. Had several nice hits and a tackle for loss that was negated by someone else’s penalty.

Right now I won't say I am impressed with UK. I'll wait to see how they fare against stiffer competition. However, I will say I am very content with how they played against Miami, and I saw a lot of things I liked.

 

Cobb on the other hand... Very impressive. Could be a special season for him IMO.

I didnt' read through the whole thread, so I don't know if he has already been mentioned, but I am pretty impressed with Harris, the QB from Miami (FL).

I would say anyone that thinks Julio Jones and AJ Green aren't two of the five best receivers in the country, then they haven't watched much College Football.

It's OK, he's been mentioned and I agree, he's a very good soph.

Not to be a homer but Nebraska jr. RB Roy Helu is going to shine this year. He had a nice season last year when he stepped in for Marlon Lucky and this off season he added muscle without losing a step and it shows. He had 16 car. for 152yds and 3 tds against FAU on saturday.

 

Dont forget about DL Ndamukong Suh. He will be as dominate as any lineman in recent years.

Yes they did, but I was just impressed by the way they came out and handled business. I mean they won a game they were supposed to early in the year, yet last season they were losing to a Wyoming team who won 4 games, and went 1-7 in the Mountain West. So yes, I was impressed.
