Kentucky by 3 TDs...

I am going to pick the upset right out of the gate. U.K. should win this one going away but MAC teams are usually tough early in the season vs. bigger conferences. U.K. is not at home in this one, upset alert.......

Miami,OH. 24

U.K. 23

UK wins and covers the spread simply because of their defense. I think they shut Miami down in this one.

Miami has not been good at all recently and I don't see that changing this year...

Wow, I didn't see that coming...

I am a little interested in how this game will play out. Most of what I'm hearing is that this game is being treated as an expected win, or at least many of the fans are giving me that impression. Now I know "NOTHING" about this current Miami OH squad but I know the program has had it's cycles of success over the years. I also would agree that there are some "trap game" elements at play also.

UK is in trouble this year, Brooks is still doing a great job but this is the year the cats step back 2 steps before taking three steps forward in the next couple of years. UK's offense is relying on Locke whose speed may never return (he was ran down from behind in a scrimmage a couple of weeks ago), a QB that is either average at best (Hartline), or a true freshman (freshman qb's never work out so well right out of the gate). Cobb will do his part to move the ball but the offense will still struggle consistently to score with no reliable WR's outside of him. The defense is a mess the defense line was suppose to be a strength but has quickly became a huge question/liability heading in to this season. This year just doesn't look good for the cats lack of depth and question marks are just going to be too much to overcome for UK this year and this game will be the start of it.

Miami 28

UK 14

Mark my words, 27-13 UK wins.

Halftime score will be 10-3 UK. UK's first touchdown comes from defense (interception returned for TD or fumble recover for TD)

By the end of the 3rd quarter the score will look something like this 17-13 UK

With 6mins to go in 4th UK puts up another field goal to make it 20-13

Late in the fourth Miami of Ohio trying to fight back goes 4 and out and UK scores late in the 3minute mark making final score 27-13

Now if Im right about this may I have $2.5 million please?:jump: Haha enjoy the game everybody:popcorn:

UK by at least two TD's.

I am surprised at some of these predictions.

UK is not a world-beater, but on paper, Miami (OH) is not a very good team this season. I don't see the Redhawks scoring many points and UK will thrive on their inability to score points. It will be Blue Heaven at Paul Brown Stadium and I'll take Kentucky to win, 34-10.

Smith is starting at RB not Locke, and Fidler is 2nd string at QB. Just sayin.:D

That wouldn't give me much confidence he's behind Hartline so Hartline must be better in the coaches eyes. I'm not even trying to knock UK I really respect what Brooks has done I just don't see it this year.
