I do not personally know many of the posters on here. I would be happy to meet any of them, just to put faces with names. There are a few who really stick out, though

 

Rocket (just to see if he really has as bad luck as I do in relationships)

 

Wireman and Gametime (Their knowledge on all things sports astounds me, and I would love to pick their brains in person)

I've been fortunate enough over the years to be able to put faces with a lot of screen names. It's always a pleasure to be able to put faces with names (and real names, in most cases), and I hope I can do that with each and every one of you.

 

But I like Spindoc's idea the best, so he wins over the rest of you jokers.

My list is literally endless. I'm fairly certain that some I want to meet would rather I keep my distance, though. :lol:

 

I have had the great pleasure to meet quite a few posters here...more than I ever would have dreamed when I first joined. I'm honored that several consider me a friend.

 

I don't want to name names, because I don't want to inadvertantly hurt someone's feelings by leaving them out. And I thank everyone who has mentioned me, because it's really humbling to know that things I write make people actually want to meet me.

Don't worry! I realized that I left out important people, too! I'd add them now, but then I'd inadvertently leave out more!

- The mods that I haven't already met. Reason - to find out why on earth anyone else would sign up for this gig.

 

- The folks who regularly post in P&R whose views are diametrically opposed to mine. That would be about 99.4% of them. Reason - to see if they really have a tail and horns.

 

- The folks, few though they may be, whose views are congruent with mine. Reason - to determine if these rare folks actually exist.

 

- The "central Kentucky connection" of Jim, RTS and TTC. Reason - I've already met AD AD and it was a treat. Friends of his surely can't be all bad.
