August 26, 200917 yr I only know a couple of posters and would like to meet more to put some faces to names as well. I'm very sporadic on posting but I do read the forums nearly every day. Where are these get-togethers taking place?
August 26, 200917 yr I'm thinking about hosting a bit of a BGP get-together at my new house during football season; Would any of you be brave enough to make such a trip? August 26, 200917 yr In all honesty, there are very few of you guys I would not like to meet. (Some I have no desire to ). I have to break mine down by situations.... theguru: Well, because he is theguru. However, I think we could only meet in a very formal situation or bar type situation because in these places crocs would be laughed at if worn. Same goes for LRCW. Hatz: To sit with at a UK game. Knows more than anyone. Jim Schue: To come hang with myself and a buddy of mine that a few times a year we come in from bar and jam out to Rhapsody for hours upon hours. Jim could provide some welcomed suggestions (and probably some harsh criticisms ) westsider and The Scribe: Most knowledgeable posters on BGP when it comes to prep sports, and it is not even close. The Scribe is also the funniest poster on BGP, so 2 thumbs up. Hatz: The most informed UK historian on here. gold sunrise, rockmom, and threetimelover: Our 3 female mods. You have no idea how much tormenting they receive and would be honored to meet them for having to listen to all of us guys. O.R. and HammerTime: Normally eye-to-eye on most things sports related. We can sit around and do our own Kobe puppet commercials. gametime: Would love to meet up with him at a big high school event to give me the scoop on next years players. Hearsay: Just seems like a cool dude. P&R people: You know who you are. I read a lot in there despite not posting a whole lot and love hearing the perspectives. I would love to meet you guys and then put you all in a cage match and get out the popcorn. mcpapa, spindoc, and Ram: Really funny guys. Well, mcpapa and spindoc are; Ram is just funny looking. Did I say something about wanting to meet bugatti? :ohbrother:
August 26, 200917 yr PH and I have been very lucky to meet a lot of our BGP Family. There are WAAAYYY too many to list...let me just say this...anyone we have not met, we want to meet....those who we have seen, we want to see again real soon. We just saw Commando at the Rafferty's Bowl game...it was good to see him again. We will be seeing some peeps at the Trinity game...we go there this year. That means that we will at least see Rockmom and Guru again....I hope so many more will be there....BF was there last time we went.... We do need another BGP get to gether again. That was so much fun and seems so long ago.
