I agree, there are good teams and bad teams at every level, and there are smaller schools that beat larger schools. But, thanks for admitting it was over the top, and we can now get back to the Mr. Football discussion.

How much of an impact on Mr Football voting does the lopsided wins have. Coaches can leave these guys in and help out their stats or they can pull them when they are up by 35 or 40 points and let the younger guys get some snaps, which may or may not help stats. For those that are not seeing other candidates, they only have these stats to go.

 

BTW, Antonio Andrews had a great hit and tackle against one of the Fort Knox backs Friday night. You do not see to many quarterbacks that can hit like that anymore (imo).

Just a man's opinion, but I thought Mike Mitichell should have earned that honor. He is playing in the NFL... that should help justify my thoughts.

Markel Walker QB for Holy Cross is looking really good and in three games he already has 500 plus rudhing yrds and pretty close to 400 yrds passing.

Andrews hit on Friday night was a jaw dropping, unbelievable hit by any defensive player, AND very unexpected by a QB. I don't care what level, 1A, 2A, 6A, etc that you are, you have to look at an amazing player when they come along, no matter where they attend school!!! I would love to see video of that hit, because live it was absolutely amazing! One hit doesn't make a Mr. Football candidate, but it sure places some icing on a cake when you look at this particular candidate. Just an amazing all-around player!!!:notworthy:

One of the most dominate hits by a high school player I have witnessed and I watched a lot of hits being dished out by Micah Johnson at FC. Most of Antonio's recognition comes on the offensive side of the ball. He has a nasty side that he is more than happy to demonstrate when put in on D. He basically took the opposing player, picked him up at a dead run, drove him back 5 yards and slammed him on his back.

This is just another example of why he should be Mr. Football. Most of the mentioned candidates do one thing well, Antonio can do almost anything extremely well.
