Oishii Sushi on Bardstown Road in Louisville.

They have several different ones I enjoy; the Cardinal Roll (cream cheese, avocado and tuna inside and seared salmon outside) and the Spicy Mary (spicy tuna roll with a spicy sauce and seared tuna outside) are my favorites.

different strokes for different folks I guess.

Same her. Best I can do is a California Roll. My daughter loved sushi until about a month ago when she and her boyfriend got food poisoning from it. She was sick for 2 days. You can't say sushi around her now, without her turning green.

Yum Yum Roll - (Spicy Crab)

Spicy Tuna Roll

Yellowtail Roll

Best Yum Yum Roll I've ever had has been at Miyako in Lexington.

There is now a Miyako in NKY. Behind Chipotle (across from The Drawbridge).

Love the Shrimp Tempura with extra eel sauce!

I used to be scared of it too. Then I realized that not all sushi is RAW. I love shrimp, rice and avocado is not too bad. So I tried it and loved it.

Love it. And believe it or not, Malone's actually has some good sushi.

Tachibana in Lexington is good.

Sapporo and Osaka in Louisville are good.

I've had it at Harry's, not bad.

But to someone who as a young child used to eat raw oysters and clams fresh off the Chincoteague docks, most sushi doesn't seem real "seafoody", if there is such an adjective.

Love it.

Locally I like spicy tuna, (the grocery store type)

But if you are ever in Utah , Park City, go to the Blind Dog and they have some of the best sushi ever. Specialties that are out of this world. Nothing common. Every time I go they have something new I love.

In Cincinnati, Mount Adams Fish House is pretty awesome.
