Look for Louisville coach Rick Pitino and Indiana coach Tom Crean in Indianapolis and Cincinnati on Monday, while the new UK staff - including John Calipari - are expected in Cincinnati. Will Pitino and Calipari both be watching Fab Melo at 9:20 a.m.? I think so.

Derek Smith Allstars 17U lost to Team United this morning by 1 after being down by 18 at one time and lost to the Wisconsin Swing in the afternoon game.

Believe the DS 16u won this morning, haven't heard about the afternoon game.

 

Indiana Elite 16u won both of their games today and their pool.

 

Saw lots of college coaches today at the games, especially this afternoon.

Yes, I didn't talk to him but my husband did. I did talk to Roy Williams and Donvan.

 

All these coaches were at the afternoon games.

N. KY Bulldogs went 1-1 in pool play. They lost to Team United by 8 and beat Gateway Basketball Club by 3.

KY Players lost both of their games today. Lost the first one by around 20 and the second I believe was 63-51...Ricardo Johnson had 23 of his team's 51 points in the second game.

 

I really don't understand why either Johnson brother plays with that team. I was very disappointed in what I saw as far as basketball knowledge goes and coaching. That team could be so much better with a different coach that preached fundamentals.

 

On a side note, if anyone wants to see some good basketball, get over to UC and see the CP3 All Stars..I caught some of their game against DC Assault and was very impressed. #21 for them is an absolute stud...not sure of his name.

#23 is Jay Canty who is open and #24 is Melvin Tabb who is going to Wake. Their best player, Reggie Bullock, is at the LeBron Camp so Canty was free to do his thing...
