I ask because I remember reading an article a few years ago in the Washington Post about a kid named Justin Jefries who was only like 10 at the time and was rated highly in his class. Curious to see if he's here.

The age groups are divided by class and go from rising freshman to rising seniors, but kids can play up. Where is the kid from and I'll see if I can locate him in my media guide...

#23 is Jay Canty who is open and #24 is Melvin Tabb who is going to Wake. Their best player, Reggie Bullock, is at the LeBron Camp so Canty was free to do his thing...

 

I believe the CP3 AS beat DC Assault 73-61.

BTW, had a chance to talk with Coach Huggins tonight during the first few minutes of the KY Players game...he is quite the character. Very funny man and down to earth as they come.

According to a few coaches, Shanklin is out for the summer with stress fractures in his shins.

 

He played today unless that was a twin. D.S 16 and under won two today. They play tomorrow around 1 PM at UC.

KY Elite beat Michigan Powerstroke by 25 tonight. Play Team Takeover and All Ohio Red tomorrow. The Ville were 2-0 beating Takeover by 4.

Must've just had a good game then...Tabb and Canty were both impressive, but Wells seemed to do it all, rebound, defend, score, and handled the ball very well under pressure.

 

I plan on getting out to see them tomorrow as well in bracket play, so I should have a better evaluation after seeing them a second time.

KY Elite blew out Michigan Powerstroke by 25 points 72-47.

Elite jumped out to 17-0 lead and never looked back.

Ky Elite was led by Mason Monroe of Pendleton County with 20 points and 4 steals.

Jackson Davis of Lexington Lafayette scored 12 points, 8 boards,3 steals and 3 blocks.

Elite play All Ohio Red and Team Takeover tomorrow.

He's got a couple high major offers in Baylor and S. Carolina, so it's not like he's awful. Just hard to stand out consistently playing with Bullock, Tabb and Canty...

I agree...there were also a few kids from the second team that Ky Players played that stood out to me as well. Common Bond-Hicks.

#11 was a very solid pg that was stroking it from outside and handled the ball extremely well...#3 was a very athletic wing that had a few nice dunks and blocks...one dunk came on a breakaway oop off the glass from a teammate...absolutely nasty.
