Yeah... Mohamed Conde is #3. No college interest. Dunking doesn't make you a major prospect.

 

Their point guard was #10 not 11 and he was really quick with the ball and tall for a PG but he has no interest either at this point. His name is Brandon Gouch, and he didn't stroke it. He made one three.

 

I never said dunking made him a major prospectt. I was simply saying he had a few nice dunks. His overall play was impressive both offensively and defensively. He handled the ball well for his size, was able to get to the rim, had a decent jumper, and rebounded extremely well. When he was guarding Ricardo Johnson, he seemed to frustrate him some with his pressure defense.

The game that I watched was the 8:00 game over at UC on court 6.

 

The team I'm referring to also had a tall lanky white kid that was probably in the 6'10 range. He was a few inches taller than Pittman.

Just heard the Ky Players won the 2:40 game and they play at 8:00.

Oh I agree 100%, but I don't think the promoters of this tournament are too interested in Grampa and Grandma watching the games. This generaly only applies to the local teams anyway.

I walked down some hallway looking around, and I was near some of the courts and I was yelled at for being there, how was I suppose to know. I also got yelled at for looking at a bracket. Whats up with all these dumb rules. They also made me get out of my seat at court 6 the practice gym. I paid 15.00 and I can't get a seat thats ridiculus!

Overall I did enjoy watching the games, but those things I mentioned before has stopped me from coming back.

N.KY Bulldogs lost this afternoon to Club OH in the U16 gold bracket. This was a 2 point game at half time before the foul count went to 16 - 5 in favor of Club OH. Their scoring in the second half was 6 points from the field and 18 from the line. Club OH went into a stall with 11 minutes left in the half and the Bulldogs could not get a five second if they paid for one. Mainly due to the fact that the officials were not even counting. IMO the Bulldogs played a great game. They had nice dunks by Travis Montgomery and Tyler Hodges. Two very close and nicely officiated game at the UC rec center left the Bulldogs 1-1 after pool play. They go off campus to Cincinnati State and a lop sided foul count results in what I feel like was a victory for the "Home Team".

I saw him play yesterday (16 points) and a few times last year as a soph (IMO he should have received more minutes on varsity) and liked the way he ran the floor and his versatility. I think with the group of seniors that are returning this year for Boone, he and Boone could have a big year.

With Boone returning seniors Earls, Gabbard, Popp, and Cotton, and juniors Montgomery and Trevan Brown, they will be very good again this year. They could be a top 10 team again. They may even be better than last year, but Highlands and Holmes will be very good too. I look for Montgomery to be a good contributor this year and will be a star his senior year.

Shining Stars Black and Blue teams have both made the quarterfinals of the 104 team NCAA certified Hoosier Shootout in Indy. Blue team has a couple of Kentucky kids that start.

Did the DS 16U win today? Hope so.

 

Indiana Elite 16u won by 2 tonight defeating Team Breakdown from Philly. They play tomorrow at 9:00, not sure who they play. Didn't go today, but plan on going tomorrow.

Got to watch Darryl Hicks from Shelby Co today and all I can say is WOW. BIG time prospect...
