Our PA guys plays these, and let me tell you, they do not set the mood for a football game. Makes me sad to see all these great songs being mentioned and not played at our games ( including the ones mentioned by me!)

New Noise by Refused. Friday Night Lights used it, but you can say that someone who liked the band before then recommended it to you. Pretty much anything off "The Shape Of Punk to Come" will get you fired up, so long as you can ignore the pseudo-socialist agenda. :lol:

Can't go wrong with some of the music from "Rudy." Most everyone recognizes it once they hear it. Good "lead up to kickoff" music.

I would call that lifting music - not game music. You have to play to a wide audience at a game.

Both would be great in Hearsay's categories of "Team Warmup" or "Team Entry" music. :thumb:

If you could find just the instrumental, Still D.R.E. by Dr. Dre would be great. Fire it Up by Black Label Society, as other people said WWF theme songs work well, I think Raceland does that before games...And it may be over used, but In the Air Tonight is an awesome song to introduce your team with. Watching Russell do it will give you chill bumps.

Those two are pretty good ones to play for the crowd, IMO.

No matter what decade the music is from it wouldn't be a game without the certain songs that are played at every game! We also have a dance team that has music played every time out or break in action plus halftime so that really takes care of music during the game.

And LN really showed his: he can't stand music being played before or during a game. Thinks it turns the game into a carnival. He just wants football and nothing else.
