Speeding ticket isn't a misdemeanor. It is a violation. But you right I think it is a little to much worry about this, unless he broke something or stealing something.

 

But he has to be smarter than this.

For anything to come of it, wouldn't the party whose rights were infringed upon have to pursue the claim? Meaning that the owner of the home (presumably the bank) would have to press charges for trespassing.

 

There are a lot of banks in bad shape, but I don't see that one happening.

I don't see a bank pressing charges either on a BIG potential customer down the road a year or 2, especially when its his hometown.

I think all of this is funny and blown out of proportion.

Not sure what was going on at the house, but I don't think that really matters.

 

I'd imagine not much will come of this. Still, a poor decision by Wall & his buddies. But it's conceiveable that Wall is on top of the world. He's about to graduate, he's the most highly touted prospect in a while, and he's getting attention from everyone.

If it was a foreclosure, I am sure the bank will not pursue anything. The bank has already had enough headaches due to foreclosure process and probably do not want to deal with something this petty. I would be willing to bet if the house was on the market and empty, Wall and his buddies weren't the first group to "let themselves in." Contractors, investors, ect. may have looked around to see if the house has potential to flip. Of course, Wall and his buddies had different motives, but I still do not think any charges will be pressed against him or anyone else who trespasses. Ironically, Wall may help sell this home due to all the attention it will receive.

I work for the courts. It is considered a violation. Most traffic offenses fall under this catagory.
