This isn't your typical "abandoned house". This is a house that someone is trying to sell. There is a difference.

 

Not when you're looking for a place to hang out and drink beer. If its empty, its empty. I'm not saying this is what Wall did. I'm just saying that kids hanging out in empty houses is not uncommon.

I do not understand why someone would do this. They are set for life barring injury if he just stays out of trouble!

I agree, it is not that big of a deal, however it just seems that he is becoming more of an issue then a solution. I just dont want UK to have that thorn in its side this year.

If there's no forced entry and nothings missing how do you get charged with breaking and entering?

 

He entered a place that wasn't his. No matter if it is locked or not. You just can't enter a persons home with out permission.

My friends and I did all the time in high school. Bored with nothing else to do, find some construction site/abandonded property and just see whats there.

 

That may not be the norm, but its not completely unrealistic. This charge in and of itself isn't terribly concerning. If there's more to it (drugs, theft, etc), then it completely changes the situation.

Yeah people do that. However most of the time if people go to an abandoned place like that, then they usually are doing something besides just talking. So that is what I think Duece meant when he said don't be so naive to think that they were just there hanging out. I wouldn't be surprised if they were having a drink or something like that. I know it really just don't make sense to go to some abandoned place just to talk, its usually because your doing something that your probably not aloud to be doing.

It is all about winning! Nothing more nothing less. This is not a slam to UK as these things and worse are overlooked at EVERY major university. Nothing like looking like a caring and dutiful human being than by giving second chances. We certainly give more to athletes than non-athletes, but a second chance is deserved none the less.

 

Why would anyone want to waste this talent in jail? or Junior College. He could bring someone a National Title.

They COULD have been drinking, but they COULD have just been hanging out. There is no evidence either way (other than none of them being charged with drinking/drugs/whatever).

To me, abandoned means boarded up, condemned, things of that nature. If a house is foreclosed, it just means someone couldn't pay for it, and now its back on the market to be sold. Big difference, IMO.... And it's trespassing at the very least in either case.
