There are some things that come to mind when I first look at this, things I wont put on the forum but you can probably guess.

The key thing that stands out to me is, he was NOT arrested! He was ONLY given a citation. It's not a big deal, far from it.

He might be interesting in going into the NFL draft next year to be drafted by the Bengals.

I'm sure this pretty much rules him out of going to Duke now, Coach K wont have this:cry:.

I don't see a great deal to get wound up about. Was it stupid? ... Well, yeah but kids are stupid, this is the type of thing to learn from. If he proves not to learn from it than I would start passing judgment but not now.

I work for the courts. It is considered a violation. Most traffic offenses fall under this catagory.

Ok well I do know it depends upon the state. I also think if you're going more than a certain amount over it's for sure a misdemeanor and by that certain amount it's not anything that people don't do all the time like 10-15 over.

Don't be so sure, Duke still went after and got 4 great years from Shelden Williams. He was involved in a situation much worse than this. If Duke doesn't get Wall, I doubt it'll be because of this. Keep your head up Grizzly and keep hope alive!!!!!!!:ylsuper:

NC Judge looks at him as says"I'm gonna make this real easy,boy. You have two options:

Option 1:We can keep this a misademeanor and you can sign this paper that says that you are sorry and that you won't do it again. Then sign this LOI paper that puts you at UNC. Or....

Option 2: Not sign this paper and you will be seeing a lot of me over the next 2 to 3 years.:D

So, whats it gonna be boy???" :madman:

:popcorn::D

I like option 1. :D

So you (website/paper) are allowed to name minors in a case like this???? That's been my question from the beginning...

Some papers CHOOSE not to release the names. I know that The Daily Independent are ones who choose not to release them.
