April 26, 200917 yr ^ Yeah he got the last laugh yesterday. :irked: I really saw things I didn't like yesterday. Why does Edwin throw the ball off his knees from deep behind 3rd into the dugout? He couldn't have got me from there. He also hits two balls to short that he literally jogged to 1st. If he's hustling and SS bobble the bal he's on. Very lazy player. I think he is the last one from the the old regime that needs to get shipped out.

The 1st baseman has to come off the bag & catch that ball. No way Votto should have let that ball go into the dugout like that.
April 26, 200917 yr He I agree with both of you. I said about 2 weeks ago its time to put up or shut up for E-5. I think he will be traded.
April 26, 200917 yr John Fay on Rosales. I agree 100% with him. I also believe the Reds need to get Gomes up here. http://news.cincinnati.com/article/20090425/SPT04/904260357/1071 I like the idea of Fay's article; however, the same could be said for Alex Gonzalez too. The season is still young. It'll be another couple of weeks before the Rosales to the Reds talk blossoms into something real.

Gonzalez has really shown signs of starting to hit. We know you like Janish, we get it, but the Gonzalez -Encarnacion situation isn't anywhere close to be the same.
April 26, 200917 yr Way not to get another run in BP. Just a ground ball to the right side or fly ball to get a run in. Good thing Bruce is starting to hit. Bruuuuuuuuce!
April 26, 200917 yr Nice inning for the Reds but what is Phillips doing cadillac-ing on his drive to right when he's hitting .169? Nice hustle, BP.
April 26, 200917 yr Nice inning for the Reds but what is Phillips doing cadillac-ing on his drive to right when he's hitting .169? Nice hustle, BP. That has to be addressed. What a joke not hustling. Votto or Bruce make a double out of that. We NEED Rosales.

We know you like Janish, we get it, but the Gonzalez -Encarnacion situation isn't anywhere close to be the same. My thing isn't for Janish. I've said that he's not the answer a million times. I just don't think we can continue to run so many hitters out there who are struggling so badly. I've been very honest about Gonzo. He's been hitting the ball very well lately, and I love it. I hope he keeps it up. Just saying that everybody has been hard on Edwin (and rightfully so) while seemingly giving Gonzo a free pass. If this team is going to compete, we need them both to step it up. Gonzo has done so. Hernandez has shown signs. Edwin looks lost.

The fact that anyone things he should be starting on a major league team is insane.
