He'll end up with between 15-22 HRs and 60-80 RBI, just like he has the past 3 seasons....Do you think Rosales can come close to that?

Yes I do.

I think its worth a shot, what is there to lose?

What is there to lose giving Janish a shot?

Yes I do.

Wow. You have absolutely nothing to base that off of.

Really, I'm happy with 10-8 start. Maybe they should let things shake out a little further before making changes. The one thing about E-5 is his air of laziness. Watching him jog to 1st on grounders to SS, just burned me up. I would think he is on borrowed time though.

Now to be totally fair you guys are wanting to replace E-5 with Rosales because he's been ridiculously hot in AAA. Meanwhile you think it is ridiculous to replace Gonzo with Janish who, so far has been hot in the Majors. Personally, I think that neither Janish nor Rosales is any kind of viable replacement for this season or long term but you have to admit it is somewhat of a double standard to want to bring up Rosales but dismiss others wanting to give Janish a few games in a row.

How many times have you seen Encarnacion play this year? He is lazy in every aspect of the game. Rosales on the other hand is known as Mr. Hustle. I would much rather take a chance on a guy that is going to show that he cares about playing the game, and can put up similar or better numbers over a guy that has shown no improvment, but rather declined the past 3 two seasons.

3rd place:lol:

You act like hitting 15 -20 homers and drving in 60-80 runs a game is something that would be impossible to replace. An average player given the AB's is capable of doing that. I believe Rosales is capable of being an average player give the AB's.

And people wonder why Cincinnati baseball is what it is....You guys could care less about results as long as the guys play hard...What is this, Little League?

Seriously, you have yet to give me a single reason you think Rosales can put up the type of numbers Edwin can...I'll just assume it's because you don't have one, other than your dislike for E5.

Yes I do.

Would you like to make an avatar bet on Rosales reaching at least 15 homers and 60 RBIs? Are you that confident?

I'm 100% confident he won't come close to that.

You act like E-5's results are out of this world.:lol: The guy is a very average hitter, and a below average fielder. What would it hurt to give Rosales a chance? A month trip to Louisville might just be the wake up that E-5 needs. It sure seemed to work a couple of years ago.

He would have to get the number of AB's that E-5 has gotten the past few years, but yes I am.

No, but you and HT act like those that think Janish should be given a shot because Gonzo's numbers are pitiful have no clue. The hypocrisy of that while at the same time claiming that Rosales needs to be given a chance over E5 is a joke.
