Check out the Highlands 2009 thread..He made Max Preps First Team Offense as a Wr and EA Sports First Team All-Purpose.....That's why I am thinking he might be rated a little higher than Miles..

Fugate, Simpson and Collinsworth are the best that I personally saw play from this past season. They all can dominate a game from both sides of the ball............and special teams !

Caleb Watkins of Corbin has been working hard in the off season. He had a great junior year. He is strong and fast. He is 6'1" and weighs around 208 lbs. He is currently benching 315lbs and squatting 455 or better. He rushed for almost 1200 yards and 16TD's last season. He is a force to contend with on defense as well.

What is the name of that linebacker from Louisville Central? Tim Patterson? He is supposed to be heck on wheels.

Max Godby of CAL is the best center in the state. He is 6'4'' 265 lbs squats 455 lbs Bench 365 lbs. 3 year starter, can T snap, shot gun snap, and long snap for punts and field goals. He has already been to U of L, UK, UT, and Western. He also is getting looks from LSU, Alabama, FL, and others. the kid has great feet and is very smart, 3.85 GPA.:thumb:

Matt Raines and Billy Lawson of Bell County are two very good talents.

From the Trinity camp, I see Dylan Kupper, Robert Watson and Danny Longshore stepping up big time at the varsity level. Kupper could play both sides of the ball on the line. Watson and Longshore will be defensive stalwarts along with Sam Shadowen and Dillon Futrell, the possible heirs at linebacker.:popcorn:

 

TE Shane Neal stepped up big after Carrico's injury in the state semi-finals and should get better with more reps with the ones. WR Rob Melillo is a speedster who can beat you with kick returns or make opposing DBs wish they had gone out for another position. Xavier Thomas' development at running back will be very important to the Shamrocks attack. He has the tools and he simply needs to harness his talent.

 

Punter and kicker Nick Robertson is a weapon and should become more effective in 2009 as he and his teammates increase their strength, agility and knowledge in the off-season (off-season is a misnomer at Rock Heaven). The DRIVE for FIVE has begun! :banana::banana::banana::banana::banana:

Alex Miller #76 6'1" 265 pounds OL/DE runs a 5.0 40, and Squats 485.

Jakob Manor #2 6' 190 pounds RB/S runs a 4.5, and Benched 270 before breaking his collar bone. Zack Lagrange 6'3" 300 pound OL/DE. Mica Watson #61 6'2" 285 Pound 4 year Starter NT/OL Very Strong!

Neil Wilson, 6-2,225 WR from Monroe Co., he lead the team in receiving and Int. He is a great athlete that can play Qb as well.

He was recently mentioned on another site that ranked the top 15 prospects in 2010 as an honorable mention...

Miles Simpson from Simon Kenton and Jordan Hansel a 6'5 295 tackle both are at the top of everyone's D1 list.

Quan Weaver from what I've seen is a legit player. Who's the big RB from the Western part of the state? His youtube clip was on here a while back.

Neil one of the best all around players in state. Very good on both sides of the ball. Look for him to have big year in 09.
