Is there a Boyle-Bell game anywhere on your schedule slated for this year at or is this possibly something in the works for the future or are people here in Boyle County jumping the gun? It'd be a great game, but in all reality, I expect to see you guys one way or another next year.:thumb:

I would think its people just jumping the gun. I dont mean to sound confident or cocky in any way, but it looks to me like for the next few years, Bell and Boyle is going to be running the 4A class, so why meet up in the regular season, when on paper, its looking like both squads are gonna see each other quite a bit in the playoffs. I've heard several things though regarding schedules, cant ever be to sure until the final one is set in stone and released though. By the way I just got pretty curious, has Rees had any d-1 offers or looks to this point?

After what I saw out of Bryan Station last year, I wouldn't be so sure of that.

Starting the season off with Alcoa will be a solid challenge for Bell. From what I've heard, Alcoa is perennially a very, very strong team.

I somehow forgot all about Lex Cath, my bad:sssh: no idea how I did that.

I didn't forget about LexCath, I just feel that for this year and next year we should be better than them. I don't know a lot about Bryan Station. Aren't they 5A anyways? I didn't think they were even a 4A school. Especially if they are playing HHS and JC.

Actually, I could be wrong. I know they moved out of 5A. Not sure if they went down to 4A or up to 6A. But yes, they were 5A last year.

Caleb Watkins of Corbin has been working hard in the off season. He had a great junior year. He is strong and fast. He is 6'1" and weighs around 208 lbs. He is currently benching 315lbs and squatting 455 or better. He rushed for almost 1200 yards and 16TD's last season. He is a force to contend with on defense as well.

 

 

 

I have heared on there latest maxes Watkins squat was 500, bench was 335, and cleaned 315.

The Bulldogs return all of their starting offensive line, along with OG and Linebacker 3 yr starter Garret Breiner. D-1 prospect Dominic Davis OL-DL, running backs Stewart Brown and Pookie Story who filled in nicely for Justin Green when he was injured this past year. Very solid Senior class

Don't know that 4.7 is D1 speed.
