Maybe once the competition starts we can get a diet meal and snack ideas thread going. Having that thread and this thread stuck at the top would be nice.

That would be great. I have a hard time with getting good healthy snacks. I love crunchy things, so I agree. I have started walking my stairs for 30 min, just to get me back in the swing of things. Its nice to get on here and see people talking about, it really does keep me motivated. My dieting won't start till after new years eve. :)

Same here. I have a real problem with snacking. I have absolutely no sweet tooth though so that helps. I could however set down and eat an entire bag of potato chips by myself.

I'm a college student who doesn't always have time to make a home cooked meal so low calorie fast food meals are always good. McDonald's has a grilled chicken salad with low fat Italian dressing that is under 400 calories. It's not bad and is great if you forget to make your lunch or whatever.

Nope not yet... Any suggestions?

Usually you can find them at Dicks sporting goods. I've got alot of different exercise I could give you. Honestly it's easy to think them up.

When have you every known me not to say exactly what I think???? I don't give a crap if we are friends. :p:p:p You saying you need to lose that kind of weight is crazy.

You're crazy! I wanna be like you! :p

Once we know how many are participating, maybe we could come up with a group goal for total pounds lost or gained.

Are we sure we don't want to start this on Monday, January the 5th ?

UK/UL play on the 4th and I plan on eating like a horse during that game. Just sayin....

haha, yeah that could be a problem. But, maybe you could post your weight at the end of the evening. Making it a little easier to lose a couple pounds right right off for you lol.

I have tried to ask a mod or two about making it a sticky...I am thinking that when the competition actually begins that they will give us a sticky. I am hoping at least, maybe BF can pull a couple strings for us, lol.

I'll definitely take some advice... I'll be watching what I eat, using the bands, and probably running in the neighborhood.

Tomorrow while I'm at work I'll make a list. It's crazy how many different exercises you can really do with those things

Think you can send that to me as well?

Right now, I'm thinking 1,000 lbs. would be cool.

We could lose a collective pick-up truck. ;)
