So, I was talking to my son about this today, and he has designed an excercise/nutrition plan for me. :D I love my little expert!

He evaluated my nutritional deficienies and determined that yes, I do need to eat MORE. He has me eating oatmeal or cream of wheat in the mornings, and yougurt other mornings (cream of wheat for iron, and oatmeal for the cholesterol lowering benefits), packing cut up fruit for a mid morning snack, a balanced lunch, and more fruit for an afternoon snack, and a balanced, light dinner. If I'm hungry after dinner, another snack of fruit. I'm to incorporate milk/cheese in moderation for the calcium benefits, which shouldn't be hard.

He gave me a pilates work out, and I'm to walk at least 30 min each day, which won't be hard.

He knows his patient's history. Odds are, he already has a plan on stand-by.

Great Idea ! My playing weight was 220 and that was 20 years ago. I'm scared :scared: so I'll way in on January 1rst. Pretty sure I need to lose some weight :D.

Happy New Year everyone.

This may have already been asked, but how long will the contest last ?

I am thinking three to four months, depending on what everyone wants to do.

That would mean til the first Sunday in April, or the first Sunday in May.

Some of the ladies need to be a bit careful with this one, it can deplete your iron. My wife can't drink it anymore.

Really? Thanks for the info and I'm in ---- I want to lose about 20-25 pounds.

My weigh-ins will have to be on a monthly basis, due to technical issues.

WOW! Can he come to my house lol. Thanks great.

I wish we would have already started because I have been bad this week. I guess I am just getting it all out of my system.

I'm on a quest to eat all the fattening food in my house by next Sunday. :D So far, the mission has been quite pleasant.

^ Same here, the left over cookies from Christmas are going quick. :D

Cookies, ice cream, some homemade apple dumplings my aunt gave me for Christmas (those are desert on New Year's Day), a lot of cheese, some loaves of homemade bread I had frozen, bacon, sausage .....You get the picture.
