Yes it was the same fellow, he had a long standing radio show on WSGS for many years. It wasn't that he disliked the schools from NKY, but he strongly felt that teams and players from EKY did not receive the same type of recognition as the ones from the "golden triangle", and he made it his life's work to try and change it. Make no mistake he had great respect for the Tigers and Bluebirds. He has now passed on to the big mic in the sky, but you know he and Vernon Cooper will be doing the game live for all of the Eastern Kentuckians that have since passed on. RIP BD&VC

Isn't it funny how every region feels they don't get the recognition they deserve? N. Ky. fans have felt for years that the Louisville and Lexington schools get all the recognition, especially when it comes to player recognition.
