The true recipe for SK to win is to walk on to that field and play the smash mouth football that we know you can. We have come this far and will not be turned away from what is rightfully theirs. Their fans can talk all the trash they want in the end the truth will prevail. Good luck with that. Unless you are St. X, "smash mouth" football doesn't work against Trinity. You may want to mix it up a little bit offensively.

Comical that pollsters think S-K has a better chance of beating T than they did of T beating X.

It's obvious the SK is playing better but I just don't see how a team with 4 losses, including a blowout by Boone, can have improved enough to hang with Trinity. First, for them to run the ball successfully, even with a great back, the line will have to control Trinity's line and not even St. X could do that. Also, SK will see an offensive scheme unlike anything they have seen all year and I'm not sure they can prepare for that in a week. Finally, Beatty is not the kind of coach to let his players get overconfident so I expect they will be ready.

 

That being said, 75% of the respondents thought Trinity had no shot against X so, as they say, "you have to play the game!"

I watched the replay of the SK vs. Male game and all I can say is that T will beat them like they are a frosh team. They will name the score and it will be 50+ easily. No contest!

2) Tell Ball State volleyball to invite Scott Radcliff to mandatory recruiting weekend next weekend.

3) Call Coach Jim Tressel and tell him to meet with Jordan Whiting at around 7:00 on Saturday in Columbus

4) Ask Tom Jurich to talk to Coach Beatty about Kragthrorp's job since he has a better record in Papa Johns.

5) Get Verizon Wireless to sign Brock Messina as a spokesperson " Can you hear me now? " Boom! Answer the phone!

6) Wear Montgomery Bell Uniforms

7) Don't run the ball 9 out of 11 plays in the first quarter for 15 yards.

8) Send films of the Bengals marked as SK so they underestimate their opponent

9) Sneak Michael Vick out of prison.

10) Run the ball effectively with some passing and play defense.

I'll be pulling for SK like always, but I just don't see them coming away from this game with the W. If they play hard and get a few breaks then who knows what can happen, but they better be ready to play the game of their lives. Simon Kenton has not played a team on this level (or even close) since the last time they played T in the playoffs.

And their overwhelming ability to think rationally. I see this game going either way. The T/X game selections were heavily influenced by the previous drubbing. X was a clear favorite in that game.
