The true recipe for SK to win is to walk on to that field and play the smash mouth football that we know you can. We have come this far and will not be turned away from what is rightfully theirs. Their fans can talk all the trash they want in the end the truth will prevail. Play with heart young men and that trophy will be on the bus heading for Simon Kenton to be displayed with your regonial trophy that the nay sayer ssaid we could not get.WE BELIEVE IN OUR TEAM

Why do people have to try and ruin it for SK. They won quite trying to point out things that you feel made it easy for them. The fact is they are there let them enjoy it. They play smash mouth football and fought their way there. Please quit with the negative and look forward to the positive. Miles is the best in Kentucky, without a doubt. He is not all SK has and many seem to think that. These men have turned their season around and are on a drive to achieve what most say the can not do. This drive is what will bring the championship to Independence next saturday evening. The only people who really believed in these young men were their coaches, families and themselves. We have shown that is all we need to do the impossible as some of you say. Sk will win 35-21. They want it and deserve and will not let anyone take it from them. There are several players that made a great impression as sophmores on the JV team this year. They will be a driving force in the years to come.

I see no reason for Boone to get a new coach. The fact that he had a team that made this far is a reason for the admin. and fans and players to want to keep him around. They had a great season and played a tuff game Friday night. In that game either team could have won. Why would you want a new coach after a season like that? Kudos to Boone County players and coaches on a great season. Hold your heads high and be proud of where you are at.

Boone did not seem to have very good pass blocking either. I feel that would have been very helpful. The QB was getting run down all over the back field when they did try to pass.

I beleive they have more speed than some think. Everyone just focuses on Miles. While he is the great, they do have others with speed also. And what they lack in speed the make up for in strentgh. I also feel that when they need to the can pass the ball effectively when needed. Chad is a great passing QB when needed to be. He also has great recievers. I feel they will prevail once again against the odds set out against them. As i said in the boone/kenton predictions people just continually underestimate the men from simon kenton. It will be a close game similar to boone.

No one put fault on anyone. Wake up and read just wanting more support in the stands. The kids do notice and like it. If not they would not sit on the field look up at us and start to raise their hands at us. We never got violent. There was one gentelman that yelled some very bad things at the first boone game but his daughter is a cheerleader not a player. He was told last night how some of us felt about him. Lets all get together on this trip and cheer as loud as we can. The men deserve it and want it.

Most of us were not. There is a group of parents that at every game win or lose stand and cheer and support them the rest never do. The largest group of cheers come from the parents of kids who dont even get to play and thats just sad. we really need to rally the troops for next week. The players love what we do for them and would love it even more if that crowd got bigger.

I may have mis read part of his post as you have mis read part of mine. Their were people telling them to sit down. These ar ethe people that I was referring to. After re reading his post I see he was saying he was winded and talking about himself playing. For this I apoligize. For the rest it is what it is. They would not stand and cheer and it is a shame that it took us gfoing down to the front row to get them to stand.

Its more than a small token it is a great thanks to the players and staff. They want people fired up and do very well indeed feed off of that. Some of us have been told that we are out of control. We are not , we are in control very well, we just love our players and team and show with great admiration how much we do love them. The rest act like there at the library reading books. This is the last year for the seniors and we want to help make it a season they will never forget. Next week everyone needs to get on their feet and yell and scream and be loud for the team. Quit making excuses and cheer them one loudly.

How can you say there is not as much difference when you have teams that are four seeds with records of 1-9, 2-8 and so on that get a four seed. Yet the one seeds are 9-1 and 10-0. There is just as much difference or more than in others.

Its hard to believe that you can say something about spirit. I watched only about a fourth of the stands stand and support their players. When the players were asking the stands to stand up and the same fans still would not get up. Unbelievable. We loved it when the three people finally went down to the front and got everyone to stand and cheer. Other than the one person that kept asking them to sit. Its hard to believe that you once played for this program and could not even stand and cheer them to victory. :flame: :fire:

Congrats to Marksberry and his staff for a well called game. The changes on defensive line worked out really well. The biggest congrats g to all the players. These young men had a rough start to a season that has turned into a dream come true for all involved. The defense played one heck of a game tonight. The offense really showed what they are capable off. This momentum will carry on into next week and SK will prevail again. The only thing that really amazed me is the lack of spirit from the parents in the stands. Would love to see the rest of the crowd as enthusiastic as some. The game is at Boone County at 7:30 tonight.

Everyone is underestimating SK. They just can not believe a number 4 seed has made it this far. I am just saying they better watch out for SK. They have come along way to get here and are not just gonna give up.

My guess would be Chad will be the quaterback.

Never said they did. But they did underestimate SK. Talk to the players and see for yourself. I only said SK has improved drastically and Boone fans are underestimating them. This will be a close game and very well woth the seven dollars. SK will prevail.

Never underestimated any defense just feel that they are underestimating our offense. I know Boone has a strong defense but i also know how SK has turned things around and just trying to say don't underestimate Sk the way Conner did.

I do not believe anyone is saying anything about the defenses they played after the Boone game, only that these kids have brought their line together and will be able to do a better job blocking and opening holes. This is a task that they understand did not get done very well in the first game. The same goes for SK's defense. This team as a whole has made 125 percent turn around since the last match up. I really feel Boone is in for a wake up call Friday night. Conner came into the game with the same forecast that it would be a reapeat of the regular season and SK showed the a whole different team. Good Luck to both teams. SK get ready ready for the road trip next week also.

I know Boone really stuck it to SK in the regular season but they have finally started running on all 8 cylinders. Coach M and his staff have done a great job getting these kids ready for this and I really feel that boone will have a hard time stopping them. It will be a close game but SK will prevail and continue on th eroad to the championship game in Louisville. Good luck to the Pioneers and congrats on a great record breaking season.

I was taught from the time I was 8 to tackle this way and continue to teach this. There is only one way to tackle someone and that is low. Can not run if you can not move your legs. Look how miles carries the defenders that try to tackle him high. You can go in low and still keep your head up with no problem.
