Why is it that the past two weeks, some have predicted these teams to put a lot of points up on the Highlands D? They have given up more than 30 just ONCE this year. I don't see Whitley being as good as Colerain, AGAIN, so I doubt they score more than 14 in this one.

To be fair, HHS didn't face any good offenses from NKY this year .

I'd say Dixie in nky had a pretty good offense but HHS shut them down.

Obviously, it slowed down the offense.

Supposed to rain in Willamsburg today, Wednesday and Thursday this week according to weather.com. So this could impact both teams running games and might give the receivers an advantage since it will make it harder for the defensive backs to react and cover.

If Whitley can't defend the pass, they're going to be in for a long night. Highlands killed JC by passing and could have made the score worse than it was had they passed a little more. (Only attempted 10 passes to 27 rushes.)

 

Did Highlands run only 37 plays against JC? If Whitley can controll the ball it will give them a small chance. I think if Whitley can put FTH in passing situation ie... 3rd and more than 6 it will help in the pass rush....Whitley obviously cant turn the ball over, have penalties and put themselve in 3rs and long. Whitley can throw the ball ecpecially on 2 and 3rd down and short yardage and also on 1st down, Labanion is very accurate and has good receivers.

Highlands did indeed only run 37 plays against JC. A lot of that had to do with JC trying to grind the clock by running (and having success I might add) and Highlands scoring quick when they did have the ball. Highlands put up 21 points on 5 plays during the second half and only had I believe 3 possessions in the first half.
