Given the turn of events last night, I wonder what a Belfry/HHS matchup would be like? I think it would be a lot of fun, although obviously HHS would be the favorite for sure.

Same here and you guys, were a lot fun to watch a game with. It is mind-boggling, seeing some characters with badge.

Depends who you ask. I just watched the game and there were multiple times the music was playing during the field of play. Isn't against some kind of KSHAA rule.:madman: Noisemakers,horns and such are okay with me. But when the music is set on 10 during the kickoffs, that's a little extreme.

I know it is an official rule; but this is the closest I could find on the KHSAA website: The band is not to play or cheers be given when the ball is alive by rule and particularly

when the opposing team has the ball. Drums, cymbals, bells and mechanical noisemakers shall not be used to assist cheering.

I would love to see it, but like Boom said, its a long way for a regular season game. Plus HHS has a lot of quality competition close to home. Belfry has week 5 open for the upcoming 2 year schedule, but other than that, it would probably have to wait for 2011-2012.

Got to speak with Jared Lorenzen before the game, what a super nice guy. He just mingled in the crowd and talked to everyone. What did everyone who came think of our stadium?

 

Your facility is top-notch. It's a very nice place to enjoy high school football. Also, I was fortunate to meet two locals in the endzone during the game. They were absolutely great. They were passionate about their football. I'm sure we'll be seeing JC again in the near future!

But a defense CANNOT allow easy 50+ yd. pass plays for scores. More than 1 or 2 of those a game puts too much pressure on a ball control offense to keep up.

 

The difference in this game had nothing to do with Central's offense, rather it had everything to do with its pass defense. Sounded like the Eagle CB's got little help from the safeties on deep patterns.

If you read one of my initial posts, I stated JC's offense moved the ball rather well and the Richardson kid was very impressive. As good as they were offensively though, the Birds offense was even better and could have passed all night.

I think what Oldbird was getting at is...you seem to have a problem in giving an unconditional compliment, or a compliment that doesn't also contain a bigger compliment of the Birds.
