^ Ahhhh, the all important meal question. Since Thanksgiving is this week, Mrs. Sidelinedoc will not be cooking for the boys. I am sure they won't go hungry, though. I just hope that they play well enough and are fortunate enough to win so that we can host them next week!

Of course, you are speaking of Friday, I don't know what we will feed the boys here in Raceland, but we are anticipating roasted Eagle for the post game meal. Just kidding, Bluto!

Last home game EVER for you Seniors. How will you remember it?

Protect This House!!!!!!!

Whoever wins this game...if Pikeville upsets Hazard does this still mean Raceland or LCA will be on the road the next week? Or does Pikeville have to go on the road to either Lexington or Raceland?

It's funny that you would say that, because I was just wondering what would go well with broiled "Leg of Ram"...mint jelly, perhaps? :D

Both Pikeville and Hazard are #1 seeds in Region-4. So regardless of who wins that game... they will host the winner of the Region-3 Raceland/LCA matchup... The KHSAA tournament rules state that the even region will host in even years (2008)... and the odd region will host in odd years...

I think roasted is much tastier than broiled. Jmo. To answer your question, I am not a drinker, but I am sure some would argue a nice white wine.:D

Good stuff, PT! And such a quick response with a link. Thank you.:thumb:

Like everone else has said in the thread, this should be a great game. I personally am pulling for Raceland. You couldn't ask for a better guy than Randy Vanderhoof. We have been friends since we were kids and he has always been the real deal as a person. I would love to see them make it to the carpet!

LCA 35-29.

I understand that Coach V and Coach Rains have a good relationship. With the rivalry that these teams have, that's great to hear. Coach V must be a great guy. :thumb:

LCA or Raceland on the road. Pikeville or Hazard will be tough on the road, they just don`t have the talent to match up with LCA or Raceland.

He's one of the classiest guys you'll ever meet, on or off the field.

Sorry boys, but got to help out the Bluto. As you Raceland fans remember the last game the LCA defense completely shut down the Raceland offense the second half and was within one kid getting ejected from winning that game. After all the penalties, (40 yds on the last drive) was still only 2 points behind at the end. Don't look to Beechwood just yet. The mistakes in the first game won't be made again, so hopefully this will be the game of all games and just maybe the best team will move on.::argue:

All pro, as your guys have been saying - I can promise you that No One here is looking past LCA and if either team is already looking at Beechwood then they are not focusing on this game and are in trouble.

Besides, whoever wins has to get past the Pikeville/Hazard winner first. So, should Raceland win then Beechwood is still not even in consideration yet, the focus wil be on the semi final.

As for helping Bluto out, I am glad that you are. Bluto is friend to all of the BGP/Raceland fans on here. There is never any shortage of one taking jabs at the other. All is in good fun, as it should be. :thumb:

I will give LCA congrats should the Eagles win this game but would much rather wish them good luck in their off season conditioning program after this one in getting ready for next season :D.

Anyway, prayers for a safe trip to LCA and all of their fans Friday and may both teams stay injury free.
