I'm sure some of the Boyle faithful may like this prediction, but there is no way in Hades that Boyle wins by 4 td's. In their first meeting this year, Boyle was VERY fortunate to pull out the W due to 2 HUGE penalties committed by the Knights which nullified TD's. While I definitely think Boyle's defense can give them the W, as the saying goes its is awfully difficult to beat a great team 2x in the same season. I almost wish Boyle would have lost that 1st game so it would give them added energy to avenge a loss. But no matter how you slice it, this will be a war and should be very similar to the first meeting with defense being the difference in this one. I hope the Rebels can pull another one out, but it will be a formidable task.

The Rebels held Catholic to just 21 yards rushing. Greg Raglin, Catholic’s leading rusher, was held to just 15 yards on 13 carries, and 11 of those came on a run late in the game.

LC's special teams were something else. I remember the kid kicking a 47 yard field goal on LC's first possession and I also remember their qb constantly booting 45+ yard punts as well. I do think we are better offensively now than we were the first game and our defense is still one of the top 3 defenses in the state. We also got our weekly big yardage Macshara run for a td against them in the first game so you have to believe that he will at least break one big run in the second game. I still think........

I place my hope for a Catholic upset on the offense being improved. The first time these two played LexCath had been victimized by several outstanding defenses and really hadn't had a chance to develop offensive rhythm. They've had seven games now to get their timing down and I hope for an improvement here. Of course the same holds true for BC but LexCath was very young at the start of the season.

Then we wouldn't have home field if we lost the first one, would we? I think the defense leads the way again, but this time we're even stingier.
