72birdman, you cant argue that IF ALL ELSE HOLDS TRUE in the Bell Highlands game minus Mitchell that Bell doesnt win. Thats an inarguable point

72birdman, forget Robbins fumble or Bells inablility to move the ball in the 2nd 1/2. If the whole game, including the latter 2 points hold true even still without Mitchell Highlands doesnt score against Bell. Bell wins. Plain and simple.

If you remove one grain of sand from the beach, the entire ocean changes.

How do you know that the guy that takes Mitchell's place, doesn't pick up 2 fumbles for TDs and runs for another one and throws a halfback pass to the QB for another one...

Although you could very well be right, you could also be WAY wrong

If this has already been answered I'm sorrying but I didn't see where it had since I last posted.

The game will be played but will they have to forfeit the other games leading up to this?

So could they win the championship with a 1-14 record?

It is still deabteable whether they would be 1-14 or 5-10 (with a win) because they may be able to count their playoff wins.

How can coaches put what’s best for one player in front of all the other players. What about the kids who have worked hard all year for another championship just to see it taken away. The family may have gone to court with it but the coach made the decision to play the kid. No coach should put the team in a bad situation just to win. If anyone should get a black eye out of this it should be the COACH. :fire:

Ive been trying to get a handle on all this, but this is all about as CLEAR AS MUD to me, anyone with me??

Thanks 3W

I think, with the coach knowing the situation and the possibilities and the history of this transfer rule of sitting out one year, that COACH MUELLER made the absolute worst decision possible, and he has to receive the majority of the blame.

No pretty clear.

Mitchell cannot play.

HHS can.

They will.

The games are played on w/o Mitchell.

HHS forfeits all games except the playoff wins.

72birdman, I said IF ALL ELSE HOLDS TRUE, so I am not wrong, I am not talking about a completely different game, I'm talking about the semi game that was played minus Mitchell. I am right. If we talk the 2 teams play a different game without Mitchell, then I could be right or wrong.

I thought they had to forfeit the playoff wins?

That is the way I see it.

Again, for those of you that missed it the first time, the game will be played as scheduled Saturday:

So let me get this straight, Mitchell played in all of Highlands games and now is not eligible,so they forfeit all their games, which makes them winless. Then they play Boyle in the 3A championship game? Talk about a controversy.

That is the way I see it.

Same here...

Not according to the interpretation of the bylaws.
