  1. Yes, people can be misinformed. Look at Highlands for example they were misinformed when they were told to "go ahead let him play". Yes, I still think the earth is round.
  2. That is one of the rules of the board isn't it. Tell the truth. I'm just stated what was said. Go back and read it if you want.
  3. Send him to the public school then. But he shouldn't be allowed to play sports.
  4. Earlier in the thread it was stated by Highlands fans it was for athletics. So he would have a better shot at a college.
  5. Not positive but if that was to happen then the school can be held legally liable for anything that happens to the kid and law suits.
  6. Really!! especially from one who's team is tarnished from all of this.
  7. Wow!!! Now it is Smith's fault that Highlands played an ineligable player.
  8. Except those in state championship competition. So, 3 wishes, the champion will finish with 4 wins (the playoff ones only) or with all (if it's Boyle). Sec. 1) Use of an Ineligible Player When a student is declared ineligible, all contests in which he/she has played while ineligible shall be forfeited to the opposing team except that this may not apply to state championship competition. So the way I read the rule, Highlands shouldn't be playing in the championship game. Because Bell won the semi game due to forfeit. The only way it counts in the state game is after it is played and then the ruling wouldn't apply.
  9. Yes I understood what it said, maybe I didn't ask the ? in the right way. It is saying if a team has an ineligable player that they will forfeit all games he played in but the team will still be allowed to play in the state game. My ? is is that right.
  10. No I didn't forget. You ask a ? and I thought I answered it. Yes I know these are kids. What about the kids that fill they have been cheated? I have no dog in this fight. But some people want to blame the KHSAA for all of this and they ultimately were not responsible for all of it. It is my understanding that the Mitchells kid transfered to have more of a chance to play on a team to get more college attention. That is wrong. The coach new this might happen and he played him anyway because as someone stated "he was doing what was best for the Kid". I find that somehow hard to believe. Coaches do this to win..Period..
  11. Guru. The way I read the rules you posted. It states that all games will be forfeited except the state game. Doesn't that in a since say it is ok to do wrong to make it there then something will be done about it. Did that make sence.
  12. Yes it does and that goes both ways. Highlands played an ineligable player and is getting slapped for it. Turn the other cheek.
  13. I understand your point and I hate the situation. But would it be fair to all the other teams and Highlands gets to play anyway reguardless if there is a winner at all.
  14. I agree, but if this does happen, then Cov Cath and Bell will be or should be in the equation.
  15. That would be a big possibility, but I would say not tommorrow. Maybe Sat..
  16. Thanks. Could someone speculate. Better not. Not with this type of situation.
