I think the problem with her doing the "politics as usual" not answering the questions asked is that 1. We don't know her stance on things because she has done no interviews and 2. Because she claims that this is exactly what she NOT....Am I wrong that she claims to be sooooo different from the Washington Elite, but she just acted the same and showed us nothing new about her. Only that she can recite a bunch of stuff written for her and say "also" at least 10 times in each sentence!

I spent my time watching the baseball games. From what I gathered I didn't miss much. My mind is completely made up (McCain voting for the bail out squashed any chance he had at getting my vote) and my candidate wasn't in the debate, plus I doubt it was close to anything remotely resembling a real debate.

It's pretty fascinating how so many people can watch the same debate and arrive at such a variety of conclusion. And, that's not just regarding BGP. What I've read on here pretty much mirrors what I saw on TV last night.

 

Bottom line, everyone's views are biased depending on who they like and what they expect/want going in...

You're right. The two had two seperate agendas, Biden to bash McCain, Palin to improve her image. The moderator did a horrible job of keeping the two on subject, and pushing either for any answers. The two had very scripted lines to get out, Biden, "now that is a bridge to nowhere", Palin, "say it aint so Joe", that were ludicrous. Biden seemed more passionate. Palin was very nervous, and once she got past that, she spoke pretty well. I guess if the goal for Palin was to prove she could go in that arena and not collapse , then she succeeded. I just don't see how not failing is a positive. Like I said earlier, I am a registered Republican who has never voted anyway but straight line Republican. No way would I ever cast a vote for Obama or Biden, but Sarah Palin?? Give me a break.

And how is this an indication of how bad the country is?

 

Maybe it's an indication that there are people who haven't fallen for Obama's bill of goods hook, line and sinker.

 

Six months ago according to his VP choice Obama wasn't qualified to be President. Since you seem to put so muc stock in what Biden thinks then please explain to me what happened in that time to make Biden change his mind so drastically (other then Biden being put on the ticket).

Biden is very lucky that he does not have to debate Palin any more before the election. When you consider that Biden has 35 years experience in the US Senate, his performance last night was pretty pathetic. Palin has been running for national office for one month and she more than held her own last night.

Seems like we have a bunch of strictly Republican voters on here...Palin was not good.
