Biden could not remember his name. I am not sure which is worse, a VP candidate who has been involved in national politics for five weeks mispronouncing a name or a veteran US Senator who has been running for national office for 20 months forgetting his name altogether.

That is also my recollection. At the time, I thought Palin threw the name out because she realized that Biden could not remember it.

I really can't believe how many people are voting that Palin won the debate easily. I guess everyone is going off of the expectations which was just for her to show up and not look like an idiot behind the podium. It's pretty sad IMO that all a VP candidate has to do to win a debate is not look like a moron and it's considered a moral victory.
