I give the nod to Biden, barely.

 

I was not too impressed by him either, but I feel that he conducted himself better and seemed more informed about what he did talk about. Palin seemed to be hitting key words, but not adding a lot of substance -- If that makes sense.

 

The overwhelming argument (though I have heard others) I have heard for those believing Palin won is that by not embarassing herself, that is enough to give her the victory. She didn't make herself look bad, no, but I still don't think she won.

 

IMO, Joe Biden was the lesser loser tonight.

As to winking and giving the shout out, those were not slip ups. A slip up is something that isn't planned. There is no way she did those things without getting the McCain camps permission to do so.

I was glad to see O'Reilly mop the floor with Frank but he should have had a couple more video clips queued up and he would not have needed to yell half as much. A couple of centuries ago, Frank would have been tarred and feathered and chased out of town for his part in looting the taxpayers and shareholders of Fannie Mae and Freddy Mac.

Barney Frank is a part of the problem, not a part of the solution. For those that want "trickle up economics" take a look at the unemployment rates in Germany and France. Both are near all time lows at 7 to 8%. The media in the US is ranting and raving about our 6% unemployment being "out of control" here, while they are throwing a party about 8% unemployment in France and Germany. 10-12% unemployment is the norm in these "trickle up/quasi socialist" economies. If you want those type of tax/economic policies here, vote democrat.
